I’m trying to track down the OEM front strut top mount with bearing (left & right) for my 2018 JDM Subaru Levorg STI 2.0.
I suspect this part is causing a strange noise/feeling with my car:
On a cold start, when I turn the steering fully left or right and then start to roll forward 1–2 metres, there’s a low “thud” sound.
At the same moment, the steering wheel feels like it chokes / jumps slightly.
On some days it only happens once after a cold start, sometimes it happens again later. Occasionally I feel a slight pull/steer off center on straight roads (especially at low speeds).
Based on looking at the top of the suspension strut towers, the rubber on the top mounts looks cracked/aged.
I’ve asked my local dealer but they can’t find specific part numbers because the car is a JDM import(I even asked for the local version one but they did not reply).........
Does anyone know the OEM part number for the front strut top mount with bearing that fits a Levorg (preferably UK spec / fits STI variant too)?
Also happy for any recommendations on upgraded / Group N style top mounts if you’ve used them and they’ve cured similar symptoms.
